So, to start off, I'll say hello. My name is Cate. I'm currently a little over two years into my recovery process from OSFED (Other Specified Feeding Eating Disorder). I spent 18 weeks in intensive outpatient treatment at the Renfrew Center in Towson, Maryland. I'm starting this blog as a way to share my story. I struggled with my ED for years, and now I'm struggling through my recovery one day at a time. In the dark place of my ED I made many mistakes, and now in my recovery I'm still making them. I can't promise to always tell happy stories here, but I can promise they will always be honest. I can't say honesty has always been my strong suit (mostly due to my ED), but it's one of the things I'm working on. I'm not a mental health professional and do claim to be one. I'm only a college student trying to find my way in life, and I'm hoping that this will help. I hope that by being able to share my story I can help others as well myself. Some things I plan on posting are stories from my life, including topics such as my treatment, medication, my life before treatment, and more.
